Dramarama, Inc. brings the highest-quality theatre productions across genres in a provocative, imaginative and accessible style. We produce shows of national and international relevancy through a contemporary 21st century lens. We also provide a home for leading artists and a training ground for the new generation of theatre artists.

We give special emphasis to our educational theatre repertory program for school students through large first-rate live performances from the greatest classic books in world literature. This program responds to a need of students to experience live representations of these literature classics that make an integral part of their English (or Spanish) curriculum, to complement the study and analysis in class. By faithfully representing its classic treatment in strict concordance to its book source for pedagogical purposes, these big stage productions constitute an important contribution to their education and intellectual development, and an essential educational tool for English/Spanish teachers in their class curriculum.

In the educational theater area, Dramarama has been prominent in its outstanding school plays repertory of world literature classics such as “HAMLET” and “ROMEO AND JULIET” (William Shakespeare), "THE SCARLET LETTER" (Nathaniel Hawthorne), "THE ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER” (Marc Twain), “THE OUTSIDERS” (S.E. Hinton), “CHARLOTTE’S WEB” (E.B. White), “THE GREAT GATSBY” (F. Scott Fitzgerald), “THE LITTLE PRINCE” (Antoine De Saint Exupery), “DON QUIJOTE DE LA MANCHA” (Miguel De Cervantes) and “OLIVER TWIST” (Charles Dickens), amongst others.

For the general public, Dramarama has created important and relevant cultural-theatrical projects such as the WORLD PREMIERE of the stage adaptation from the best selling book “ELEVEN MINUTOS” (“Once Minutos”) by world renowned author Paulo Coelho, the American Premiere from another Coelho book “VERONIKA DECIDES TO DIE”, the American Premiere of the stage adaptation from the Oscar winning film “ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER” by acclaimed director Pedro Almódovar, contemporary masterpieces like “ANGELS IN AMERICA”, “GLENGARRY GLEN ROSS” (David Mamet), “DEATH OF A SALESMAN” (Arthur Miller), musicals like "GREASE", a version of the “CARMEN” opera, the Guinness book record play “THE MOUSETRAP” (Agatha Christie), and several original plays written by Carlos Acevedo, all great artistic successes and box-office hits.
